Wall of photos

I love this wall of photos-it looks like it would bring a lot of happiness. :-)

This week:
- I applied to ten jobs, and I'm still waiting to hear something back from any of them.
-It's been a lot cooler, highs in the 70s (low 70s today!) and I absolutely love it, though I keep thinking, "where did summer go?"
-I enjoyed taking walks with Elliot in the evening
-I drank a delicious Pinot Noir and ate cheese and crackers with the family on Friday evening

I'm now thinking about what to do on Labor Day weekend-time to say good-bye to summer.

This wedding is so terrific! I spotted this treehouse wedding over at Classic Bride today and fell in love with it. I had been looking at wedding blogs when helping Kati prepare for hers, and now I can't stop following them. So many cool ideas out there!

These pretty images from Toast's Fall catalogue leave me wanting to be near a lake or a river this Fall. I am always happy near water, be it a river, ocean, lake, or pond. Something about the water always calms me.

Kati Got Married

This past weekend my good friend, Kati, got married! She was such a beautiful bride, and the wedding was so much fun. It was cool being a part of the wedding party and being involved with all of the festivities leading up to the wedding. Now I know how much work goes into putting a wedding together, but it all turned out wonderfully so it was worth it. I wish Kati and Nick the very best and I know they will have a happy life together! :-)

Paper art

I love the combination of paper lanterns and paper poms in such cheery colors. I'm going to be trying to make those tissue paper poms tomorrow for the Bachelorette party I'm throwing on Saturday. I'm not too crafty, so I hope they turn out okay!

Judy Garland

Today is Judy Garland day on Turner Classic Movies! I just watched "For Me and my Gal." Also on the lineup today is "In the Good Old Summertime", "Summer Stock", "I Could Go On Singing", "The Clock", "Meet Me in St. Louis", "The Pirate", and "A Child is Waiting." Super day for Judy Garland fans like me! :-)

Harry Potter

New addiction: Harry Potter. I just watched the first film-Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone- and loved it! I thought it was time I saw what all the fuss was about. And now I can go ahead and watch the next 3 that I borrowed from my cousin. Hopefully I'll get all caught up while the sixth Harry Potter film is still in theaters. Then, maybe onto reading the books.........
