New Year, New Job

It's been a pretty good week. Had an interview for a part time job on Wednesday, and on Friday I found out that I got the job! Funny thing was I had interviewed at the same place a couple weeks before for a different position and didn't get that job. Luckily, one of the people I had interviewed with recommended me for this other position. I'm keeping my other part time job as well, so I will be pretty busy now. But, this is good for me, it's time to enter this working stage of life. I'm a little bit nervous about this week, but a little excited too! It's time for something new.

Woody and Diane

Love these old photos of Woody Allen and Diane Keaton. Makes me want to watch Annie Hall again!

White Barn Inn

White Barn Inn, located in Maine, looks like a really pretty place to stay. Fine dining, a spa, and beautiful accommodations, hmmmm....sounds like a nice little getaway.

Rachel Bilson

Fashion Icon
I have liked Rachel Bilson since her OC days (yes, I got sucked into that show in high school). Though I haven't seen her on TV or movies lately (besides The Last Kiss with Zach Braff-was that really 4 years ago?), I always see her photos pop up in magazines, highlighting her great fashion sense. She has a great casual look- a little vintage, boho, yet sometime tailored, classic look. She really can layer pieces well and can rock all styles of jeans like whoa.

Snow Day

Snow in my neck of the woods finally! At least our first significant snow fall of the year. Schools around the area have been canceled (primarily due to cold temps, wind chills near -16!) and I've been staying in. Since schools have been canceled, Sylvan Learning Center has also been canceled, so I get a snow day too! The snow is very pretty, but the cold temps are just brutal!

Man on Wire

Netflix movies have arrived! One of my rentals is the 2008 documentary, Man on Wire. The film chronicles Philippe Petit's 1974 high-wire walk between the Twin Towers of New York's World Trade Center. Can you imagine seeing someone doing this!?

Fulvia Farolfi Hamptons Home

Love makeup artist Fulvia Farolfi's Hamptons home featured over at The Selby.
Looks like such a cozy, happy place! I think I would be perfectly content there. And don't these photos have you missing summer just a little bit?
