I love this diy project tutorial over at Design Sponge for pressed plants. I'm a biology major myself, and I would love having some cool botanical specimens to hang on the walls. I actually learned the process of pressing plants in a Plant Systematics class I took in college, but I never considered displaying them on the walls. Now I have a little project for my next apartment!
